This was my first attempt at customizing my HTC Aria.

Running Launcher Pro
The wallpaper was from ~nitzua19

The rest of the details are in the screenshot.

I've since switched from Clockr to Minimalmistic text for all my on screen status / text information. It will swallow up all your Android text widgets and eat them for dinner ;)

Hi mate... I apologize that I no longer have this setup on my phone and no longer have the files. But the clock was just tweaking with the settings / config of the clock I downloaded from the Android Market. As for extended controls I made a simple black png with opacity set to 60% or something and then simply used that image for the background in the program. You can select what image you want to be the background image in many skinnable apps

hey mate, yeh I think some people had issues with my particular phone with the program so I was trying to research it a bit more =) It definitely needs it though!

you could just flash new fonts then...on xda there's a thread with a bunch of flashable font packs.

i have the same phone .. i'm also currently using launcher pro clockr and minimal text.
have you considered trying a custom rom? or are you already running one? can't really tell ;)

I'm on HTC Aria using FR008 Liberated. It is supremely awesome as far as Sense based ROMS go. I've tried CM roms too... but so far nothing has made me budge from this beauty =) how about you?
